Elegant clay pots

Terracotta – burnt earth – has been a favoured material for plant pots for many centuries, particularly in southern Europe. The unglazed clay in earthy tones of orange to brown and grey helps to create a natural, southern atmosphere in the garden or on the patio.

The clay from the Tuscan village of Impruneta makes the best terracotta in the world. The typically reddish clay is hand-crafted using traditional manufacturing techniques. Firing the clay at extremely high temperatures makes it particularly resistant to frost and other climatic influences – producing pots for eternity.

These lovely clay objects carry the famous Impruneta stamp as a trade mark.
